SABC Education’s Takalani Sesame Muppet's are
accompanying Sanlam on their national roadshows. They will be at Blue Gum
Bosch, Bluegumbosch Road, Phuthaditjhaba, QwaQwa in the Free State between 10h00
and 15h00 on 29 September 2012.
Over the past 12 years, the award-winning Takalani
Sesame has provided South Africa’s children with educational, fun,
entertaining and quality programming on SABC television channels and radio
stations. Muppets Kami, Zikwe, Moshe, Zuzu and
Neno will entertain children on stage and in play areas. Takalani
Sesame is fun innovative programming that allows children to celebrate
their childhood through learning, loving, playing, laughing and dreaming.
Takalani, which means ‘be happy’ in TshiVenda, conveys the spirit of
happiness and innocence. Takalani Sesame is brought to the
children of South Africa through a partnership between SABC Education and
Sanlam. Sanlam have sponsored Takalani Sesame since the first
broadcast in 2000.
