Takalani Sesame’s
Muppets will visit the Makwarela Stadium in Limpopo on 6 October 2012
between 10h00 and 15h00 as part of Sanlam’s national roadshow.
Over the past 12 years, the award-winning Takalani
Sesame has provided South Africa’s children with educational, fun,
entertaining and quality programming on SABC television channels and radio
stations. Muppets Kami, Zikwe, Moshe, Zuzu and Neno will entertain children on
stage and in play areas. Takalani Sesame
is fun innovative programming that allows children to celebrate their childhood
through learning, loving, playing, laughing and dreaming.
Takalani, which means ‘be happy’ in TshiVenda, conveys the spirit of
happiness and innocence. Takalani Sesame is brought to the
children of South Africa through a partnership between SABC Education and
Sanlam. Sanlam have sponsored Takalani Sesame since the first
broadcast in 2000.
