SABC Education ‘MyTomorrow’ Technical Careers Expo at Nasrec

The SABC Education ‘MyTomorrow’ technical careers expo will take place at Nasrec from 9th to 11th October 2012 between 08h00 and 16h00 daily.  A tour of the expo is approximately 2½ hours, bookings for schools are essential and entrance is free.
SABC Education ‘MyTomorrow’ is dedicated to technical careers and will focus on the many trades and training programmes that school leavers, especially those not fortunate enough to obtain a university degree may embark on.
The SABC Education ‘MyTomorrow’ technical careers expo targets grades 8 to 12 students and unemployed graduates.  Learners will meet organisations offering information, in-house training and opportunities.  These organisations have a common goal; to alleviate the technical skills shortage in South Africa.   This event is a prime platform for learners and industry players to meet, network and exchange crucial information.  Industry players include higher learning institutes, career guidance centres, financial institutions, entrepreneurial skills organisations, national youth development programmes, government departments and relevant SETAs. Educator seminars will be hosted daily during the Expo.
The expo is a partnership between élancommunications, the Department of higher education & training, the National Youth Skill Development Programme and SABC Education.
