Worker’s Rights on Shift

Tuesday, 1 May 2012

Economic conditions are proving more difficult each year and 2012 is no exception. In fact, this year could prove to be the breaker for many families who are continually struggling to make ends meet.

The situation is made worse when the breadwinner is fired or dismissed without proper procedures and processes followed. And, yet employers are still applying malice processes to reduce their workforce. In this episode, we speak to several people who have been unfairly dismissed and have never been compensated for the work they did.

We will also discuss the impact this has had on their personal and family lives. We will also be joined by the CCMA to understand the correct procedures that should be taken and provide advice for those who find themselves in a similar position.

We will also be joined by the NCPPDSA who will discuss issues related to persons with a disability within the work environment. If you want to empower yourself and know your rights within the work environment then this show is a must.
