Takalani Muppets Tour!

Takalani Sesame Muppets Visiting Your Town!

South Africa’s much loved Muppets from Takalani Sesame will be part of Sanlam’s 2011 road show visiting Rustenburg, Polokwane, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern and Western Cape. Takalani Sesame is fun innovative programming that allows children to celebrate their childhood through learning, loving, playing, laughing and dreaming.

Over the past 11 years, the award-winning Takalani Sesame has provided South Africa’s children with educational, fun, entertaining and quality programming on SABC television channels and radio stations. Muppets Kami, Zikwe, Moshe, Zuzu and Neno will entertain children on stage and in play areas.

Takalani, which means ‘be happy’ in TshiVenda, conveys the spirit of happiness and innocence. Takalani Sesame is brought to the children of South Africa through a partnership between SABC Education and Sanlam. Sanlam have sponsored Takalani Sesame since the first broadcast in 2000.
