2011 sees the arrival of the first ever SABC Education Baba Indaba in Bloemfontein, so if you’re a parent, grandparent or planning on expanding your family, this event is for you. There are hundreds of exciting products and services to look forward to, whether you’re looking for flattering, trendy maternity wear, educational fun toys for kids, the latest in parenting gadgets, ideas for children’s rooms, accessories, baby products or anything else to make parenting easier, you’ll find it at the SABC Education Baba Indaba, all under one roof.
This year’s exhibitors include ice cream specialist Dave’s Delights, toy company Pegasus, kiddies party organisers Looney Rascals, The Victorian Organic Skincare Company, Kicker Clothing, Pitta-Patta shoes, the Post Natal Depression Support Association, Imperial GM Bloemfontein, the SPCA, speech therapists and audiologists Deon Ceronio, Mothers and Miracles, Life Rosepark Hospital and many more.
If that’s not enough to make you go gaga, then look out for the annual Baba Indaba Bump & Beyond competition where one lucky person can win a fantastic hamper of prizes from exhibitors, which includes everything mom needs from pregnancy to birth, and beyond.
Explore what’s on offer or grab a cup of coffee and a delicious lunch at one of the food stalls, while your little one is entertained by one of the many shows, like the daily Takalani Sesame Shows where kids will be enchanted by entertaining musical acts with a South African flavour. Daily shows on the SABC Education stage at 11:00, 12:30 and 15:00.
Because we know that a day out with the kids can sometimes be a bit hectic, there’ll be a dedicated baby changing area courtesy of Cuddlers Nappies, a peaceful baby feeding facility and a bottle and baby food warming station to make this day easy and enjoyable for all parents.
Come and enjoy this fun filled event with the whole family, and as always, there’ll be loads of fantastic giveaways, including gift vouchers, hampers, and loads of exciting prizes.
