Sarah, following her break-up with Jabu, is working in a family business and having an affair with Shaan, who is married to the boss’ daughter, Jaymati. She is struggling to make ends meet, including paying the bond on the house that she and Jabu bought together. Shaan, for his part, feels hemmed in by family at work and at home. When Sarah loses out on a promotion to her rival Aahna, she tells Shaan to reverse the decision or she will tell Jaymati about the affair. But Jaymati and Aahna find out anyway. Jaymati, with Shaan in tow, confronts Sarah at her home and demands that Shaan fire her. Whatever Shaan does, he has yet to realise how much damage he has already caused to his own life.
