In today’s fast paced world learners are under a great deal of pressure to obtain a grade 12 certificate which has become a minimum requirement to effectively participate in the job market or enroll for tertiary instruction. As a result, learners inevitably need support to lessen the burdens of grade 12 particularly during preliminary and year end examinations.
Matrics Uploaded season II will provide matric year-end revision content entitled ‘Class of 2011 catch up programme’. The show will aid the class of 2011 to crack top marks in their final matric examinations. The revision series boasts a line up of Mzansi’s top teachers poised to provide expert advice in key subjects; English first additional language, accounting, business studies, geography, history, life sciences, mathematics, mathematical literacy and physical sciences. An expert teacher will provide guidance on typical exam questions covering core topics examined in the final exams. During the show, additional support is available through an sms number 32543 which gives participants live interaction and direct contact with the teacher in studio.
Simon Molaudzi, SABC Education General Manager, says “education is the most important treasure one can have. The SABC through Matrics Uploaded intends giving matriculants a good start in realizing their dreams of not only passing, but doing very well, so that they can follow their dreams beyond matric. SABC Education wishes all matriculants well during exam preparations, revisions, and exams at the end of the year, good luck to the class of 2011”.
The revision programme promises the best in matric revision by providing loads of exam tips, study skills and methods to beat exam related stress. SABC Education encourages all grade 12 learners to follow Matrics Uploaded broadcast on SABC1 weekdays from 15h00 to 16h00 with repeats from 05h00 to 06h00. The ‘Class of 2011catch up programme’ begins on 21st October and ends on 25th November 2011.
