With our second season of TOMz, we are looking to feature the coolest, weirdest and most fascinating things in Science and Technology. We also see how science and technology play a real role in lives of everyone; from average Joe through to each and every Icon or Celebrity, even fashions and trends. With regards to science and tech, we are focusing on the following points:
• Fashion
• Sport
• Relationships
• Music
• Transport
• Environment
• Space
• Technology
• Hobbies
• Careers and life opportunities

We are taking the science and showing it in a more entertaining way, featuring the weird and whacky world of science and including brief explanations or demonstrations as we go along. We want to show only the COOLEST technologies (like the weirdest car or a cell phone that can bend!) and feature the CRAZIEST facts (like how soccer balls were first made from pig bladders!) to make up a show that will not only share the knowledge of science, but also broaden the youth’s perspective of science and technology.

Being YOUNG, VIBRANT, EMPOWERED and TOTALLY ALIVE, TOMz is about Entertaing and telling real stories, as the core conduit to educate relevantly. TOMz brings the viewer in touch with many of SA’s leading Artists, DJ’s, Football Celebrities and many other role models; who share their insights and experiences with the youth about the subject matter at hand.

We also want to showcase South-African scientists and the amazing things they are doing. We will feature the SKA Project throughout the season as well as the South African National Defence Force and the amazing technologies they use. We will also look at what the ‘little guy’ is doing and feature entrepreneurs in South Africa doing their thing and contributing to their communities through the wonderful world of science.
