Raise Your Hand Wins Silver and Gold at Promax.


The PromaxBDA Africa 2014 Awards took place on 21 November at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. This year’s theme, Evolution, embraced the new organic landscape of content marketing.

SABC Education’s Raise Your Hand won Silver and Gold for:

Best Integrated Marketing Campaign Award
Silver – SABC Education: ‘Raise Your Hand integrated marketing campaign’
Best Use of Social Media
Gold – SABC Education: ‘Raise Your Hand Social Media’

Danie Swart, Head of SABC Education explains that “Raise Your Hand is an on-going initiative that informs, motivates and encourages the public to get involved in improving our country’s educational outlook.  In achieving this we can galvanise corporate South Africa to play their part through the funding of projects and the support of local private projects.  The campaign asks that we all consider and value education.  Raise Your Hand asks how we can add to, and improve resources in education”.
