2014 Elections
Countdown to 7th May 2014 - 2 Days to

As the most feminine among all numbers, the 2 is also the
most underestimated -- at least, when it comes to power and strength.
After all, she is almost always gentle, tactful, diplomatic,
forgiving and understanding. Certainly, she likes to keep the
peace and will avoid confrontations as much as possible.
And so we have to heal our Africa within. We
have to re-discover the true Africa, the Africa of laughter, of joy, of
originality, of improvisation, the Africa of legend, of story-telling, of
playfulness, the Africa of brilliant colors, the Africa of generosity,
of hospitality and kindness to strangers, the Africa of immense
compassion, the Africa of wisdom, of proverbs, of divination, of paradox, the
Africa of ingenuity, and surprise, the Africa of a four-dimensional attitude to
time, the Africa of magic, of faith, of patience, of endurance, of a profound
knowledge of nature’s ways and the secret cycles of destiny

Let’s all take time to count our
blessings on this journey and to count our blessings for everything that
has been achieved and for the breakthroughs. In the spirit of Ubuntu we
must find solutions in areas that still need help. We must delve
deeper into telling all the good and Africa’s untold stories.
There is a great power in goodness and belief in ourselves: Let’s
continue as a collective and in the spirit of oneness to embrace, experience
and exemplify Africa’s Spirit of Ubuntu.
Let us have Grace and Gratitude for all
the wonderful blessings that have been bestowed on us as Africans as we look
forward to making our mark on 7th May and ensuring that our
voices are heard! More importantly we must ensure that the voting process
is ethical, free, fair and violence-free. At the same time ensuring that
we as citizens conduct ourselves in an ethical manner.
Although no one can go back and make a brand
new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

Any Renaissance must correspond to a period of strong
emotions, intensive creativity … – an exceptional period when a generation's
Creative genius discovers its mission, fulfils it to its best … It should
correspond to great moments in history and great works. All peoples want
re-birth after misfortune: wars, genocide, holocaust, ignorance, obscurantism,
colonialism. Rebirth is a positive attitude of hope.
