Born Frees Go Missing!

According to statistics provided by the IEC, less than 25% (about 500 000) of 18 to 19-year-olds (the Born Frees) have registered to vote. The highest number of voters (about 5 million) are in the 30-39 age group. The highest percentage of registered voters is in the 60-69 age group with 98% (a total of 1,3 million). Of the total registrations, women significantly outnumber men 13,4 million: 11,0 million.
