Who
will Win One Day Leader?
On Sunday 12 May at 18h30 on SABC 1 the winner of One Day Leader 2 will be
announced. This hard earned title is
between Ndumiso Hadebe and Seadimo Tlale.
Over the past 12 weeks SABC1 viewers
watched these youth execute challenges and debate leadership skills based on
modern day social, economic and political issues to compete for the title of One
Day Leader.
Before
the final announcement, this episode looks at the travels of the top six
candidates Ndumiso Hadebe, Seadimo Tlale, Sanda Ncama, Anele Nzimande, Mukovhe
Masutha and Bongekile Radebe and the legacy they formed while on One
Day Leader.
We
look at the lessons they encountered and revisit Ga-Moega, where teen parents
told them ‘they don’t have a recreational
facility and that’s why they find themselves parenting’.
The
candidates reconstruct a facility where Mfanafuthi Zondi started an art school,
specialising in dance and drama so that young people can have some participation
in activities that will help remove them from the streets.
