Siyayinqoba Beat It! is a weekly TV show for everyone living with HIV and AIDS, as well as their partners, families, friends and care givers. Since 1999 the show has provided a platform for people living with AIDS to share their challenges and victories.
A middle-aged white woman speaks about her fears of disclosing her status and a woman in the Eastern Cape tells how her baby died because she did not want to know her status and as a result did not enrole in the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) programme which could have ensured that her child was born free of HIV.
Siyayinqoba Beat It! is produced by Community Media Trust in partnership with SABC Education.
