In its sixth year, the SABC Education Baba Indaba is still bursting with inspirational ideas, information from expert exhibitors, great bargains and loads of fun for the family. Doors open from 09h30 until 17h00 each day, entry is R45.00 kids aged under five enter free and grandparents enter free on Friday. Tickets, which can also be bought on-line don’t just get you an affordable entry to a fantastic expo; you also make a difference to The Red Cross Children’s Hospital Trust who receives 5% of the income from ticket sales.
There will be awesome prizes up for grabs, among many a paid for family holiday and a lunch at the Pretoria Sheraton Hotel but you must be there to be in line! The line up of exhibitors which are growing at a rapid pace include Vitabiotics and Aspen Pharmacare who will share pregnancy and baby’s health advise. Pitta Patta soft leather baby shoes, designed for developing feet will ensure your little one feels stylish and comfortable. Twinkle Toes Photography will ensure your child’s important moments don’t slip away undocumented. To make the show as comfortable and convenient as possible, SABC Education Baba Indaba offers Cuddlers changing rooms equipped with nappies and changing products to keep baby comfortable and happy during your fun-filled day. There will be private breastfeeding rooms to put mom and little one at ease and Kiddy Tags are a must to ensure your most precious gift doesn’t go wandering without your knowledge!
SABC Education Baba Indaba is not just about babies, toddlers will love the Takalani Sesame Muppets who perform daily stage shows at 11:00, 12:30 and 15:00. They also get to meet and play with them, learning numeracy, literacy and life-skills knowledge while having fun. This year toddlers have a chance of meeting their favourite characters and having their photo taken.
