2016 Mzansi Spelling Bee is now open for learners who are currently doing Grade 4 to 11 or who are between the ages of 9 to 17 all across South Africa. This year the competition is taking a new turn to be the first in South Africa to blend traditional spelling bee, new media and technology to create new era hybrid spelling bee program.
The all new exhilarating technological innovation allows Mzansi Spelling Bee to live in a virtual space that allows thousands of children across South Africa to be part of the community of spellers and Word Nerds.
We call on all Mzansi to help us grow a unique well groomed literate generation of Super Word Nerds. Every child count, do not wait until tomorrow let us take action now and help South African children uncover their true potential. This is call to action for all South African citizens, from schools, parents, teachers, communities, media and corporates.
