Skeem Saam Season 2 episode teasers

SABC 1 from 14 March at 20h30. Series Synopsis - Will Tbose and Kwaito learn from their mistakes, or are they doomed to repeat them? Tbose has never felt so alone in his life. When Kat breaks the ‘guy code’, he puts himself in the firing line, and Tbose crosses a line that puts innocent people’s lives at risk. Friendships are tested to the core.

Family ties are stretched to breaking point. This season, our protagonists will dodge bullets in Turfloop, experience narrow escapes in big cities and struggle to find independence and meaning in their lives. Old secrets are unearthed and new secrets are buried in futility. Skeem Saam 2, the thrilling and enlightening journey to adulthood continues.

Episode 1 – 14 March

Tbose faces criminal charges. Kwaito contemplates the possibility of staying in London. Katlego has a surprise visit, which leaves the community reeling. Charles Kunutu decides to make life a living hell for the Maputlas. 

Episode 2 – 21 March

Granny's health takes a terrible turn as a result of losing Kat. Kwaito suspects foul play and investigates who planted dagga in Kat's blazer.  With Kat out of the way, Tbose tries a new tactic to get Mapitsi back.

Episode 3 – 28 March

Tbose and Mapitsi continue to keep their secret, and end up doing the unthinkable. Will they be found out? All is not smooth sailing with Kat and his father in Johannesburg.

Episode 4 – 4 April

Tbose risks life and limb to get his girlfriend home. When Kat learns Mapitsi has disappeared, he assumes the worst, and sets out into the streets of Jozi alone at night. 

Episode 5 – 11 April

A stranger turns the Seakamelas' lives upside down. Mapitsi wants a chance to explain the situation to Kat. Kat returns to school, accompanied by his father. Will he tell on Tbose about planting the dagga? 

Episode 6 – 18 April

Mapitsi’s world falls apart. The ‘Face of Turf’ competition heats up as the finalists are announced. Who made the cut? MaNtuli goes on a warpath when she discovers the real reason Seakamela abandoned her and the children.

Episode 7 – 25 April

A devastated Mapitsi tries desperately to keep her secret from coming out. MaNtuli struggles to hold her family together against Seakamela’s accusations. Tbose suspects that Mapitsi and Katlego are back together. 

Episode 8 – 2 May

Mapitsi goes missing. Will Leeto and Sonti find her before she does something stupid? Seakamela reveals a surprising detail about his past. 

Episode 9 – 9 May

A surprise visit turns Meikie Maputla’s life upside down. Will Tbose find the courage to confess? Mapitsi can’t bring herself to step down from the ‘Face of Turf’ competition. The results from the paternity test give Seakamela the shock of his life.

Episode 10 – 16 May

Tbose runs away from home when his secret is exposed. Kamo’s slip of the tongue threatens to ruin Mapitsi’s chances of winning the ‘Face of Turf’ competition. More details about Seakamela’s life in Alexandra emerge.

Episode 11 – 23 May

Tbose keeps running. The police are on his tail. How far will he go? Mrs. Maputla makes an unexpected decision, plunging the family into crisis. Rachel grapples with Mapitsi's secret. To tell or not to tell?

Episode 12 – 30 May

The Maputlas have to adjust to life without Meikie. Mapitsi is determined to be the ‘Face of Turf’ at whatever cost, but Rachel is watching her every move. Tbose goes on trial for the hit and run accident that killed Ben Kunutu.

Episode 13 – 6 June

Mapitsi sails a little too close to the wind. Rachel Kunutu is confident that she has all it takes to win the competition. The ‘Face of Turf; finale descends into mayhem.  Tbose faces the disastrous consequences of his actions.
