Siyayinqoba Beat It! Thursday 2nd August at 13h30 on SABC1: Having Healthy Children

This episode of Siyayinqoba Beat It! examines how women, including those living with HIV, can have healthy children. A paediatrician explains all the tests and treatments a pregnant woman needs to make sure her baby is born healthy. She details a list of vaccines children should have from birth to the age of twelve to protect them from coexplains how children need to be monitored to check that they are growing properly

Siyayinqoba Beat It! is a weekly TV show for everyone living with HIV and AIDS, as well as their partners, families, friends and care givers. Since 1999 the show has provided a platform for people living with AIDS to share their challenges and victories. Many people living in isolation with HIV find that through Siyayinqoba Beat It! they are part of a vibrant and growing community of people who are meeting and beating the challenges of AIDS.  Siyayinqoba Beat It! is broadcast on SABC1 Thursdays at 13h30 and produced by Community Media Trust in partnership with SABC Education.
