Mother of all Professions SABC2 Saturdays @ 11h30: Phumzile Dhlamini Thuto e Tswela Pele Established by Phumzile Dhlamini in 2006 to offer unemployed Palm Springs residents a means of generating income, Thuto e Tswela Pele offers skills training in beading, sewing, nail technology and computers. The NPO has 12 volunteers and operates from two unused class-rooms on weekdays from 9am to 3.30pm. The centre currently offers thirty students a six month SETA accredited introductory computer course; together with a skills training programme for an additional 50 members in nail technology, sewing and beadwork.
